I'm a visual artist who is motivated to blend synergy of life experiences, journeys and learnings to create art works. A constant flux of innovative ideas inspire me to perform as an educator too. Its just the sheer passion toward creative processes that drives me to explore and execute my ideas in versatile mediums.
Aditi Ganeev Sangwan is currently resides in Toronto, Canada. Her work experience includes working as Assistant professor in Department of Graphic art, Visva Bharati University 2014-2021 . As a recipient of UGC, NET, Junior research fellowship she earned her Doctorate with an emphasis in printmaking from Department of Graphic art, Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan in 2011. Her art practice includes versatile mediums like Printmaking, Painting Instillations, Artist Books, Poetry and Cyanotypes.
She constantly evolves material possibilities along with visual narratives. In the process, she blends inspiration from local and traditional craft practices of different regions to transform her contemporary language. Her works majorly revolve around her immediate experiences exploring her natural environment. Aditi has solo shows and site-specific installation projects to her credit and has participated in various exhibitions, conducted workshops, and given presentations in various institutions in India and abroad.
